Canoe Hire - Take away / Self drive

Hire quality canoeing equipment for multiple days - "take away" or self drive within the Kangaroo Valley or to other expedition venues.

Requires the hirer to have their own roof racks or trailer.

Our hires are per canoe and NOT per person. 

A multiple day canoe hire is great for getting out onto some of Australia's spectacular waterways, here in the Kangaroo Valley or further afield. Load up a canoe and head off on an expedition.  This is available for flat water destinations only (not available for moving water river trips)

To do a take away / self drive canoe hire, you are required to have an appropriate set of roof racks or a suitable trailer. If you are unsure if your roof racks or trailer are suitable please don't hesitate to contact us.

Your canoe hire includes

 - All required canoeing equipment, including

 - 1 x canoe (Wenonah Prospector, Wenonah Heron or Silverbirch Broadland) 

 - 2 x aluminium paddles

 - 2 x life jackets (PFD)

 - 2 x 60L waterproof barrels

 - Laminated maps of the local Kangaroo Valley waterways, along with local knowledge and route advice

 - Boat tie down straps.

Valley Outdoors' canoes are high quality craft provided by Paddle and Portage Canoes: Australia’s only importer of Wenonah and Silverbirch Canoes. Silverbirch Broadland 15' and 16' models are manufactured in the UK using advanced roto moulding techniques to create a stable, robust and efficient shaped plastic canoe. Wenonah Prospector 16' and Wenonah Heron 15' in T-formex (previously Royalex) models are hand crafted in the USA. Wenonah has been mastering its process for over 50 years and is known for its rich canoeing history.

No experience is required - just a willingness to jump in!
