A Half Day Guided Canoeing Tour is a great way to experience our magnificent waterways and still allow free time in your day to explore other parts of the Kangaroo Valley.
It's also a fun and fantastic family friendly tour - great for kids of all ages.
Head off in premium canoes and immerse yourself in the most scenic flatwater paddling venue in Australia. A playful session focused on fun and nature, allow your guide to share about the place and the local wildlife you see. You will have ample opportunities to take photos, ask questions and get canoeing skill coaching while simply messing around in boats.
Your qualified and knowledgeable guide will fit you with a life jacket, correct length paddle and Canadian style canoe. You can feel safe on the water knowing your qualified guide will instruct you on how to get the most enjoyment out of your paddling experience.
This paddle experience is for all paddling abilities, no prior canoe experience necessary.
Session Time
Allow 4 hours for this experience. Starting times can be flexible, just let us know.This includes:
- Transport from the office to the start/finish locations and return
- Briefing time; getting PFD's on and teaching you skills to paddle the canoes
- Paddling time; this can be shaped into however you would like your experience, we can go further or stop along the way to look and experience the environment we are in
- Stopping at a beautiful location along the river for an epic morning tea break
- Relax or swim in the pristine river
- A short explore if you wish (optional)
Inclusions
Your experience includes the following and more:
- Professional, passionate and experienced guides
- Foundational canoeing instruction, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to control your canoe and move with ease on the water
- All activity related equipment and comprehensive safety equipment including a first aid kit and a satellite communication device
- Transport from our office to the venue (and return!)
- National Parks fees paid on your behalf
- Additional information on the local area and the flora and fauna you might see along the way
- A light morning or afternoon tea, including a hot cuppa if you desire
- An experience where you are disconnected from the busy world (there is limited service where we go) and reconnected with yourself and nature
- Lunch is not included on a half day canoeing tour.
