Sunset Guided Canoeing Tour

A guided Sunset Canoe Tour is a great way to experience our magnificent waterways at a relaxed pace. Head off in premium canoes and immerse yourself in the most scenic flatwater paddling venue in Australia. 

The Australian bush comes to life at dusk. Hop in a canoe and glide past remarkable Aussie icons. 

It's a who's who roll call of Australian wildlife:

• Wombats
• Wallabies
• Echidnas
• Kangaroos
• Wedge-tailed eagles and white bellied sea eagles
• Parrots, Cockatoos and Honeyeaters
• Lyrebirds
• Bandicoots
• Possums
• Monitors (goannas) and Water Dragons
• And if you're lucky the platypus!

As the sun sets drink in your spectacular surrounds and appreciate the matchless Kangaroo River landscape.

Your qualified and knowledgeable guide will fit you with a life jacket, correct length paddle and Canadian style canoe. You can feel safe on the water knowing your qualified guide will instruct you on how to get the most enjoyment out of your paddling experience. 

Session Time:

Allow 4 hours for this experience.

This includes:

- Transport and travel time from the office to the start and finish locations

- Briefing Time - get into PFD's, learn the correct paddling strokes and information on the local area

- Exploring the river at your own pace

- Stopping to have/enjoy a hot drink

Suitable for all paddling abilities - no prior canoe experience necessary.
