Canoeing Skills

We believe that canoes are the perfect craft to make you a versatile paddler. Whether you look to paddle kayaks, stand up paddle boats or anything in-between. Canoe skills allow you to jump in any of them and be able feel in control and ready to go.

Great for beginners and anyone wishing to refresh or refine their skills on the water.

The foundational tandem canoe skills course teaches participants how to work together in a canoe through foundational strokes and the setting of roles.

Our instructors work through common mistakes made when paddling a canoe as well as covering the base information needed to travel efficiently and safely on the water.
